Top Marques Monaco has established itself as the world’s most exclusive supercar show, and for good reason. After all, at what other similar event could you experience a test drive on a real Formula 1 circuit, just weeks before the famous race takes place?

Imagine the sensation of negotiating the Rascasse corner in a Koenigsegg Agera R (BBC Top Gear’s Hypercar of the Year and a Guinness Book of World Records holder) which can go from 0-300 km/h in a thrilling 14.53 seconds. Or the Roding Rodster, which combines a chassis of the highest grade carbon fiber with a BMW 6 inline 320hp turbo engine. Or perhaps the stunning handbuilt Renovatio T500 from Tushek in Slovenia, which will premiere at this year’s show at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

Well now you no longer have to imagine. While traditional motor shows tend to limit public access to the cars – it’s a question of look but don’t touch – at Top Marques, visitors are encouraged to do more than just get close to the cars. The principle is that getting behind the wheel and anticipating the pure power and precision of these supercars is really the only way to get to know them. Nothing is more inspiring than settling into a leather-bound seat and gliding along with pure power in your hands, in a car which at any moment can turn a flight of fancy into a 0-200 km/h flight of reality!

As always, visitors also have the chance to meet the creators, designers and engineers of these motoring masterpieces. The show’s ethos is easily summed up in its motto: See it! Drive it! Buy it!

As well as classic marks such as Aston Martin, Ferrari and Jaguar, a wide range of new supercar manufacturers will be present in April, including Pagani, GTA Motor, Noble, Savage, Fisker, Soleil Motors, MS Design, Mansory, Gembella, Hamann, Merdad Collection, MTM, DeLavilla, Pace-Insider Cars and Top Car. And for motorbike enthusiasts, DK Motorrad, Greber and Avinton will all be presenting their latest models.
